2011-12 RRC Competition Format

Season 2011-2012 of RRC competition is being carried throughout two phases: first (pool) phase and second (play-off) phase.

During pool phase 15 teams, divided in 3 pools according to previous season competition results and geographical position, plays single round-robin tournament.

The teams ranking is formed according to results in the pool phase. Winners of each pool take rankings from 1 to 3 and the rest of teams take rankings from 4 to 15.

Teams ranked from place 1 to 8 are participating in play-off phase. Play-off phase is played as single game knock-out form throughout quarterfinal, semi final and final matches.

Equal number of points at the end of pool phase

If two or more teams have same number of points the best ranked will be:

·       Team having best difference between points for and points against in all pool games.

·       Team having scored more tries in all pool games.

·       Team with less sent-off players in all pool games.

·       Team with less yellow card bins in all pool games.

Match points in each game:

·       Winner of the game: 4 points

·       Looser of the game 0 points

·       Draw between the two teams: 2 points to each team

·       4 or more tries in the game: 1 bonus point

·       Looser by 7 or less points: 1 bonus point
